{Art Books} + Baby Update! Traeger

Happy Friday! I want to share a few images of this gorgeous set of 8×8 Art Books that were picked up by their owners yesterday. I love this set. It’s simple and full of joy.I also got to see just how much this little man has grown since his newborn session (actually about 8 wks here). He’s huge! He also loves to laugh! His mom was nice enough to let us play for a little big and I found all his tickle spots. What a great laugh! He really enjoyed playing with my son’s turtles as well.:)

YSC Seattle Charity Photoshoot

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we’re already preparing.  On September 15th we’ll be holding a shoot in support of the Seattle Affiliate of the Young Survival Coalition’s 2nd Annual Drink Beyond the Pink fundraising event to be held on October 9th, 2010 at O’Asian Kitchen. The evening will feature appetizers, a silent/live auction, and dancing with 300 YSC supporters and survivors expected to attend. With the funds raised, YSC Seattle can continue its efforts to support young women diagnosed with breast cancer as well as educating young healthy women about breast health.

YSC Seattle has asked to me to photograph a group of survivors. The images created during this shoot will be printed and displayed during the Drink Beyond the Pink fundraising event.

We have been very fortunately to have the very generous donations of studio space, professional hair, and makeup services .  The shoot will be held at Urban Light Studios in Seattle which have donated the use of the studio for the entire day.

For you ladies that are so graciously joining us – thank you for allowing me the honor of photographing you. My goal is to capture your beauty, your strength, and celebrate you. I the day an enjoyable experience for everyone.

I would like to ask that each participant sign up for a time slot. This is the time you will arrive for hair and makeup.  With so many participants and a limited amount of time it’s imperative that everyone be on time. Also, I will have model releases for you to sign when you arrive. Obviously these images will be displayed publicly and are for promotional use. Further information will be provided.

Small Strobes Workshop

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a workshop with awesome photographer, David Tejada, who flies all over the world producing some amazing commercial photography.

We spent the day playing with speedlites and trying out some ninja lighting techniques.

{class of 2011} Charnie LHS

{Class of 2011} Charnie | Everett, WA

Charnie is my LHS rep for 2010. She really brought it for the session. She put with with me for hours at a handful of locations. I couldn’t help it, she was just so much fun to shoot! Wow – what didn’t we cover in this session? We hit the standards in the first five minutes and then it was just play time for the rest of the session! We got some best friend shots, urban, a wheat field, some funky lighting, the prom dress, some edgier shots, some summer sun, and ducks on a date!
I hope you loved this session as must as I do!

{beautiful bellies} Baby C

I was invited to the home of this wonderful family to celebrate the coming of their second baby. This meant, of course, that I got to have fun playing with the first one! She is so sweet! It’s no surprise she gets this from her parents. Feel the love in this session!

{Seniors} Katie’s ’10 Artbook

Katie’s was definitely one of the wildest senior sessions I’ve shot so far! We had a great time rambling around Capitol Hill in Seattle. This girl had energy to spare, and her confidence shows through in every shot.
